“Wait… What?” -Everyone

The NFL regular season is one game in, and Antonio Brown has already given us an entire season’s worth of drama and confusion. Just when you thought the ash had settled, a volcano erupts out of nowhere, and you didn’t even know that volcano existed before. It’s almost impossible to decipher Brown’s thought process throughout this whole implosion in Oakland. It’s almost too easy to predict that conspiracy theorists might deduct that this was Brown’s game plan after all: to end up a Patriot. But like I said, that’s too easy for it to be real.
Brown’s antics leading up to this might lead to concern from Patriot nation, but if there’s any head coach and owner duo that can handle someone like Antonio Brown, it’s Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft. The “Patriot way” isn’t just a saying out at Gillette Stadium, it’s a lifestyle. It’s a no nonsense, do your job, one strike and you’re out kind of place, and if Belichick or Kraft catch any whiff of immaturity or sense of entitlement from Brown, you can guarantee he’ll be sent packing.
Now, let’s talk about this current Patriots offense. Edelman, Brown, Gordon, Michel, Thomas, White, Harry, Dorsett… oh right, and that guy named Brady. If everyone stays healthy *knock on wood* that’s petrifying. That kind of offense is almost threatening enough to ask, “Gronk who?” Close, but not quite though.
Did Antonio Brown single-handedly destroy Oakland’s season before it even started? Probably. Has he left an entire city in absolute bewilderment and turmoil? Why yes, yes he has.
