I think I can speak for the rest of Boston when I say, weren’t the Celtics were supposed to be unbeatable this year? Gordon Hayward is back to full health, Kyrie is still Kyrie, Jayson Tatum is only getting better, Jaylen Brown has shown massive maturity, Marcus Smart is, well, getting smarter. Shouldn’t these all be ingredients for a phenomenal season for the C’s? Just about every single preseason prediction had the Celtics winning the Eastern Conference. They currently sit in 5th going 25-17, also in the midst of a two game losing streak. Quite frankly, I feel like the Celtics are shooting themselves in the foot. The over-confidence factor could be playing a huge role in what the guys in the locker room think should be happening on the court. But basketball is a game of runs, not only in single games, but in full seasons. I don’t think it’s time to worry quite just yet… but I think it’s fair to be on edge.
