So the New England Patriots have already turned social media upside down two weeks into the season and we need to address what the hell is going on in Foxborough. First off, it’s not time to panic since the Pats lost to Jacksonville. People, for whatever reason, continue to sleep on Jacksonville and forget that they actually have a talented team, along with, still, one of the better defenses in the NFL. History has shown that an early loss for the Patriots means little to absolutely nothing, especially in the AFC East.
Also, people need to chill out about Josh Gordon. He hasn’t even played a single snap yet, and people are already calling him the next Randy Moss for New England. That’s a bananas statement. Randy Moss wasn’t constantly injured with his previous team and also wasn’t in and out of play due to suspensions. If Josh Gordon stays healthy and keeps his head on straight, then yes, he is an extremely talented and dangerous receiver, especially when it’s Tom Brady who’s eyeing him down the field.
Furthermore, the media needs to stop blowing this hypothetical Brady and Belichick beef light years out of proportion. All is fine in New England. Belichick would adopt Tom Brady if he could, and add him to the coaching staff once he retires and join his other son on the sidelines.
