Turning a dedicated hockey fan into a basketball fan isn’t an easy task, but the Celtics have done just that to me. Let me first be abundantly clear, I am not saying I am no longer a hockey fan, I am saying that I used to push basketball aside in the winter and solely focus on hockey. But the men in green have certainly garnered my attention this season. Currently leading the Eastern conference with an 18-3 record and .857 winning %, the rest of the NBA would agree with me. Despite the loss of Gordon Hayward less than 10 minutes into his debut with the C’s, it looks like it’s Kyrie Irving’s team to take to the show from here on out, averaging 23 points-per-game.
