Something’s wrong on Causeway Street. The Bruins have looked extraordinarily average, and their lineup is littered with injuries. If you hadn’t been following the Bruins for a long time, you would have no idea who half of these players were. Aside from the injury bug, there’s one huge question mark surrounding the play of Tuukka Rask. Tuukka has looked incredibly slow moving across his line, letting in average shots that any other day he should save. Rask thus far has put up horrendous numbers, with a 2.91 GAA, an .899 SV% and no shutouts. Under Rask the Bruins have a 3-8 record. It seems that it’s been backup goalie Anton Khudobin’s time to shine, boasting a 7-0-2 record, 2.22 GAA and .932 SV%.

This is Tuukka Rasks final year on his contract with the Bruins before becoming a free agent at the end of 2018. If Rask keeps this pace of play up, is it Khudobin’s time to shine as the #1 in TD Garden?
